Role purpose
As Web Content Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering a global web content strategy that supports commercial priorities, strengthens SEO performance and ensures a consistent brand voice across markets. This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, where you will take ownership of the planning, creation and optimisation of global web content during the parental leave period, ensuring continuity, quality and performance across our digital platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver the global web content roadmap aligned with commercial priorities, SEO opportunities and brand strategy
- Collaborate closely with the SEO Lead to identify content gaps, keyword opportunities and optimisation priorities across markets
- Lead on-page SEO strategy, including content structure, internal linking and strategic use of FAQs
- Define content requirements and produce clear, insight-led briefs for the Creative team, including keyword guidance and performance objectives
- Act as the guardian of brand tone of voice across all web content, ensuring consistency and quality at scale
- Oversee content audits and contribute to improvements in site structure, navigation and page hierarchy
- Monitor content performance and use insights to inform ongoing planning and optimisation
- Ensure web content is accurate, localised and aligned with SEO and commercial objectives
Experience & skills
- Proven experience in web content, content strategy or SEO-focused roles within a commercial or digital environment
- Experience working with CMS platforms (Contentful preferred)
- Strong copywriting, editing and content planning skills
- Excellent briefing skills, with the ability to translate SEO insights, brand guidelines and commercial objectives into actionable content briefs
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, keyword research and on-page optimisation
- Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Power BI
