A bit about the role:

The Tax Analyst will work with the Head of Tax and Treasury, members of the finance team and external advisors and service providers to fill remaining gaps in the set up of the new HX companies across all taxes with tax authorities and within the ERP, Microsoft Dynamics and to support with streamlining tax processes. To succeed in this busy role, it is essential that you enjoy working with systems, are well organised, have a strong attention to detail, are a good communicator and strong collaborator as you will be working closely with other departments within the Group, as well as external stakeholders including our ERP support partners and tax advisors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the completion of the corporate tax compliance, particularly with getting things started with the new advisors.
- Assist with quarterly group tax reporting;
- Incorporate live data feeds from Dynamics into group tax reporting workings;
- Complete the MS Dynamics VAT return submissions set up across all countries to leave us placing minimal reliance on external advisors for VAT compliance;
- Work with Finance team colleagues and MS Dynamics reports to embed checks and balances into tax reports and improvements to Finance and Tax function processes;
- Assist with filling in some gaps in the tax calendar across all taxes and all countries; and
- Put in place tax log ins for HX group companies in all countries, with local advisor support if required.
About you:
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree with strong academic results.
- 2-5 years’ relevant work experience.
- Experience with optimising tax processes in finance systems would be an advantage.
- Experience with VAT compliance in multiple countries would also be an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong system and technology skills.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills (Power BI skills is an advantage).
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
