As a Hotel Controller, you will control and manage all the aspects related to the Hotel Cost Control and lead a team to provide a first class provisions service You will actively support the daily operation as well as provide an expert financial point of view and contributing to proactively driving business results through analysis and reporting. Within this role you will act as a role model, be a leader for the future, an inclusive team player who is able to coach and support your team. A bit about the role: Responsible for the line management of the stores team to support, develop and deliver Supervises the entire loading operation from planning to execution inside the storerooms and on the pier to ensure a safe working environment. Responsible for financial reports concerning the operation and results onboard to all key stakeholders ship and shore. Fully acquitted with Power BI reports and able to explain the results, producing back up information and documentation. Accountable for ensuring MMS, Fidelio, POS systems are always accurate Responsible for checking all quantities, quality, and specifications after the loadings, in order to be confirmed in the system in collaboration with the Storekeeper. Conduct frequent inspections of highly perishable merchandise and seeks advice and support from the galley team if uncertain. Picking POC: Overseeing ordered and review requisitions before issuing. Fully accountable for the day-to-day for the accuracy of inventories, appropriate FIFO rotation, vegetable/fruit sanitation practices, issuance and charges, cleanliness and Public Health standards are followed. About you: Demonstrated experience in motivating and leading teams 2 years experience as Hotel Controller or similar role on board cruise ship is desirable Previous experience with MMS, Fidelio, POS systems Extensive knowledge of inventory control procedures with regard to onboard operations Strong accounting, finance and analytical skills Problem solving oriented Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to interact with key stakeholders ship and shore Fluent in spoken and written English #J-18808-Ljbffr
