A bit about the role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated EMEA Partnerships Manager to support our growth through our travel agent partners. This is an Integral role responsible for managing travel agent partners within a defined portfolio, building long term relationships, maximising sales opportunities and driving growth for HX within the EMEA market. You will be responsibility for driving overall engagement, across promotions, front line incentives, co-op marketing, training and sales efforts for a range of partners, to deliver improved revenue growth for HX. Key Responsibilities:
·Responsible for revenue growth for a portfolio of travel agent partners throughout EMEA
·Development of sales and marketing strategies to exceed revenue targets
·Investigate all sales, marketing and product development opportunities with trade partners within defined account remit
·Secure partner engagement through negotiation of commercial agreements and contracts
·Effectively build strong and deep professional relationships with key contacts
·Provide best in class account management to effectively execute customer campaigns
·Work with partners to build effective co-op marketing plans to improve consideration and conversion
·Effectively utilise and manage co-op Marketing budget
·Professionally present HX through training, webinar and public speaking
·Attend cruise shows, consumer events, award nights and host agency educational trips where appropriate
·Work collaboratively across HX departments to drive optimal, efficient ways of working
·Hybrid working including Home, EMEA Travel and UK head office Kings Cross
Performance Metrics:
·Monitor sales performance, marketing campaign effectiveness, and revenue metrics, providing regular reports, feedback and analysis to senior management.
·Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to align strategies and ensure cohesive guest service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to champion HX brand.
- Forge strong external relationships at all levels of travel agent partners
About you:
Knowledge & Skills:
- Educated to an ‘GCSE’ level or equivalent standard
- Proven experience in a sales within the EMEA travel industry, preferably in the cruise / touring / adventure sector.
- Strong experience and understanding of trade EMEA channels and relationships within the travel industry.
- Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving & exceeding revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office, Salesforce; BI tools advantageous
- Good understanding of numbers, respective market, market and data trends
- Proven ability to translate targets and data into specific commercial actions.
- Excellent influencing, presentation and communication skills to audiences at all levels
- Proactive and results-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
