Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Teacher of Mathematics to join the Maths Department, to start from 27th August 2026. The candidate will demonstrate a passion for Mathematics education, a commitment to raising standards, and the ability to inspire and support students of all abilities. They will work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
This is a full time, permanent role, paid on the Outer London STPC Main Pay Range, dependant on experience. The school is offering a recruitment incentive of £5,000 which is split into the following payments – £2,500 subject to the successful completion of a 6-month probationary period, and a further £2,500 to be paid upon one year service. The post would suit an experienced or Early Career Teacher with good prospects for career development.
