Hurstmere School is seeking to appoint a highly effective Administrative Assistant to join the Administration Department, to start from 27th August 2026. We are seeking a professional, organised, and enthusiastic School Administrative Assistant to join our busy Admin team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the school, providing excellent customer service to pupils, parents, staff, and visitors. This is a varied and rewarding role that requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work to a high standard and will seek to ensure a positive educational environment through their work.

This is a Full time, Permanent role, Term Time Only plus 1 week, paid on the Bexley NJC PAY SCALE point 5.1 -5.4 (FTE £29,436.00 - £29,856.00 - actual salary calculated on a pro rata basis which equates to £25,318.78 - £25,680.03 per annum). The working pattern will consist of 36 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm, Friday 8.30am - 4pm with a 30 minute unpaid break each day.
