We are recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant required for September 2026.

Salary: Grade 7 SCP 18 – SCP 23 (£31,537.00 - £34,470.00) (FTE-AYR) – To be pro rata. Actual salary: £20,785.52 - £23,131.83 per annum. 4 days, 28 hours per week, 39 weeks (TTO + Training Days).

The Local Governing Body is seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to work 4 days a week. The post is for PPA cover with planning and delivery of whole class lessons across Key Stage 2. The successful candidate should be passionate about teaching and learning and have high expectations of pupil achievement and well‑being as well as having excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.

Working Hours and Salary:

  • Term time only, 39 weeks (no. of working weeks). First year salary will reflect number of working days remaining in holiday year.
