Job Overview
We are looking to appoint a Level 2 TA to work mainly in upper Key Stage 2 and provide support for children within our school. This will involve small group work, supporting in class, and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Support children in upper Key Stage 2 classrooms.
- Lead small group work and interventions.
- Assist teachers in classroom activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in childcare, child development or education.
- Enthusiastic and committed to supporting children’s development.
- Enhanced DBS check (safeguarding).
- Proof of right to work in the UK.
Additional Information
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this. The successful candidate will therefore require an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The post is subject to medical clearance.
