Due to our expanding Inclusion Hubs, the Governors at Brook Primary School are looking to appoint an outstanding Level 3 Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the learning opportunities for our children, who have an EHCP. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team which is ambitious for the success of all, where children have positive attitudes and a love of learning and where staff are valued and well supported by parents and governors. You will be working within our Inclusion Hubs with children of varying needs including ASD, ADHD, developmental delay.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)

We are looking for someone who:
- Is committed to inclusion
- Has an outstanding understanding and experience of the impact of learning difficulties on children’s progress and development
- Has experience of working with children with EHCPs and learning difficulties
- Has experience of working with children with complex needs including areas such as Autism, ADHD and Speech & Language difficulties
- A knowledge of the EYFS/ Key Stage 1 & 2 National Curriculum and assessment
- Is a highly effective team player
- Enjoys supporting children and strives for excellence and enjoyment
- Actively supports teaching staff to raise standards
- Believes that every child should be given the opportunity to reach their true potential
- Is committed to the safety and well-being of all pupils
- Has excellent interpersonal, organisational, communication, and time management skills
- Will adhere to and support whole school policies and practices
- Happy to support the ethos of the school
- Willing to undertake suitable training for your own professional development
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to pupils to achieve learning goals e.g. leading phonic sessions
- Providing support to pupils with SEND
- Assisting the teacher with the planning of learning activities
- Assisting in maintaining classroom discipline through the implementation of the school’s behaviour management strategies
- Assisting with the day-to-day routines of a classroom including the preparation of resources
- Assisting the teacher in monitoring pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed
