The Brier School, part of the Unicorn Satellite Centre, is a special school serving pupils with complex learning needs, especially moderate learning difficulties. We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to support our pupils during lunch, ensuring they are well-nourished, socially engaged, and receive appropriate intimate care.

Salary: £5,724.97 – £5,854.60 per annum (term time only, 38 weeks).

Working Hours: 10 hours per week, term time only.

Location: The Brier School.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise lunch period, ensuring safety and well-being of all pupils.
  • Assist pupils with eating, socialising and intimate care during lunchtime.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to meet the individual needs of pupils.
  • Maintain a supportive, positive environment encouraging social interaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, especially in an educational setting.
  • Strong team-player skills, motivating, positive, resilient and a good communicator.
  • Clear right to work in the UK and ability to provide supporting documentation.
  • Ability to pass enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and other pre-employment checks.
