We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for people who want to make a difference to vulnerable and elderly people in Dudley.

Dudley Council is committed to ongoing improvement and achieving excellence.The service has an opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and motivated team answering alarm calls, housing repair calls, Emergency Duty Team calls and other out of hours contacts for the Council, installing Technology Enabled Care (TEC) equipment, completing assessments and participating in our falls response service to support non-injured fallers up from the floor.

We are looking for a Community Alarm Officer to join our successful and TSA accredited Telecare Service.The service provides, installs, monitors and responds to alarm activations that enable people to remain at home, promoting independence, choice and control.

The service operates 24/7 and the successful candidate must be able to work shifts that include evenings, nights, weekends and Bank Holidays as part of a rota system. You will work a 37 hour week over a rolling 23 week rota.

The salary is £31,537 to £34,434 subject to Pro-rata, plus 15% shift enhancement and weekend allowances.

The successful candidate must hold a full driving licence and have use of a car, which must be insured for business use. We will also complete checks with the DVLA regarding your driving licence, MOT and insurance.
