Excellent opportunities have arisen to work within Assessment and Independence on Urgent Care Services and Dudley Short Term Assessment and Reablement team.
As a Senior Support Worker your primary role will be to support Community Care Supervisors. We are looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm who wants to make a difference. You will be working 37 hours per week on a flexible rota which includes some weekends, evenings and bank holidays, for which relevant enhancements will be paid.
Responsibilities:- Taking delegated responsibility to enable people to be supported at home with their daily living activities.
- Supporting a community care service providing person centred support and opportunities for people and their carers.
- Looking after a team of designated staff in order to meet the requirements of service initiatives and developments, including all legislative standards, e.g. CQC, Care Act.
- Assisting in managing the demand for care capacity and ensuring safe discharge and care provision.
- Working at maximising a person’s independence to deliver their person-centred outcomes.
