We have a live requirement to fill an open position within one of our EDD teams on an existing client project in Belfast. Huron is seeking an experienced EDD Analyst (Associate-level) to join our existing Financial Crimes team within our Belfast-based Service Delivery Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile client engagements, supporting leading financial institutions with enhanced due diligence, customer remediation, and financial crime compliance initiatives. As part of our delivery team, you will play a key role in helping clients manage regulatory obligations, assess customer risk, and strengthen financial crime controls. You will work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, applying your KYC and EDD expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes across a range of client projects.

This is a full-time, Hybrid role (2-3 days in the Belfast office per month is typically expected, with flexibility required for additional days when required based on client/project/team need). The expected start date is Monday 28th September 2026, subject to a successful interview process and relevant background checks.

Your Role:

  • As an Associate within Huron's Financial Crimes Service Delivery Centre, you will support the delivery of Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and customer remediation programmes for global financial services clients.
  • Conduct retrospective reviews of customer transactions to detect potential indicators of suspicious activity, including money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing.
  • Evaluate the accuracy of existing Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) documentation, ensuring alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess the appropriateness of customer risk ratings and recommend adjustments based on the depth and quality of supporting documentation.
  • Perform risk-based Customer Due Diligence (CDD) lookbacks to confirm that customer profiles meet current regulatory standards and internal expectations.
  • Identify and elevate red flags indicative of financial crime or compliance vulnerabilities, contributing to the development of effective mitigation strategies.
  • Recommend and implement accurate updates to customer risk profiles within internal systems as part of the remediation process.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory alignment across project deliverables.
  • Support project oversight through regular progress updates and participation in quality assurance reviews.

  • Participate in team meetings, calibration sessions, quality reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.

The Profile We're Looking For

  • Experienced Financial Crime Professionals: We are looking for motivated professionals with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and previous experience supporting AML, KYC, and EDD operations.
  • Required background includes:
    • Strong educational background; degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of KYC experience, including hands-on experience conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews.
    • Strong understanding of AML, KYC, customer due diligence, financial crime risks, and regulatory expectations.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of seniority.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work.

The estimated base salary for this job is £28,000 - £40,000. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is £32,200 - £46,000.

The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage, and other wellness programs.
