The Communications department is responsible for managing the Club website, Club brand and style, the press office, Club signage, social media presence and all member-facing communication. The team work with all departments across the Club to achieve quality, accuracy, and consistency in terms of messaging, brand, language, style and design., As a Designer you will work full time; 35 hours over five days, Monday to Friday. You will work closely with the Head of Communications and other Designers on print and digital marketing materials whilst ensuring brand consistency through typography and layout style.

Typical duties will include:

  • Designing print and digital marketing materials for the Club including but not limited to posters, leaflets, social media graphics, Shorthand digital brochures, monthly Highlights newsletter, Club signage and Christmas cards.

  • Working closely closely with the Food and Beverage department to display accurate, up-to-date information in outlets, from well-designed point-of-sale signage to menus.

  • Working alongside the Design Lead and Junior Designer, proactively managing the Design workflow in line with the Club’s 10-week communications strategy; prioritising, scheduling and completing briefs in a timely and professional manner.

Experience in a similar role is essential. The candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is required. The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in design principles and printing processes, be confident in creating new concepts, and be able to showcase experience through a compelling portfolio. Experience in photography and photography editing skills is desired.
