The HCA will work with the Clinical Pharmacist on site to undertake the anticoagulation clinic, checking INR levels for patients prescribed warfarin and advising them of changes to their dose. Full training will be provided for this service.
The successful candidates will be expected to work under agreed protocols and under the supervision of a Senior Nurse and Clinical Pharmacist to provide quality care to patients. Ability to use Emis is also essential.

The purpose of the role is to work alongside senior multidisciplinary clinical colleagues to support clinical care and activities of patients presenting to the practice with minor illness and injury. Working under the direction of Nurse Practitioners and General Practitioners, duties will be delegated to meet the needs of the team following policy and procedures.
You will need to be able to provide vaccinations for shingles, pneumococcal disease, and flu.
