A Receptionist/Admin role at Hurley Group for Allerton Road Medical Centre in London. Work pattern: 8 hours a day, 35 hours per week. Permanent, part-time contract.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close premises punctually.
- Check-in patients, direct them appropriately, and handle enquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Take accurate messages and pass them to relevant staff.
- Maintain and update the appointment book; operate the scheduled appointment system.
- Arrange repeat prescriptions, collect and store specimens, and prepare specimen reports.
- Deal with telephone queries and provide cover for reception and admin staff as required.
- Maintain office supplies, manage non-routine appointments, and handle mail distribution.
- Support clinical team by preparing referral letters, recording data, and liaising with external agencies.
- Contribute to audits, projects, and general administrative duties to support smooth practice running.
Qualifications & Experience:
