We are looking for a real needle in a haystack but we know the right people are out there. Our client, a well established local business is looking to recruit two Production Operatives on an ad hoc temporary basis to support during peak periods, and to cover annual leave, and absence cover.
Location: Outskirts of Maldon. Please note: due to the rural location, your own transport is essential as there are no public transport links.
About the role: This is genuinely ad hoc work, with shifts often offered at short notice. For this reason, the role would suit someone who is looking for work more for the social aspect or flexibility, rather than consistent or guaranteed hours. Shifts are typically available Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm. Due to the nature of the business, a minimum of four hours will always be paid, even if the shift finishes early.
Duties include:
- Picking and packing
- Labelling produce
- Loading product on and off of the production line
- Working on a fast paced production line
- Adhering to strict health and safety at all times
