Production Machine Operative / Relief Warehouse
£27,428.18 per annum + £500 training completion payment | Basildon, Essex | Permanent
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm

A hands-on role with variety and opportunity to develop
We're looking for a reliable and practical Production Machinery Operative / Relief Warehouse Operative to join an established business in Basildon.
This is a varied role combining spiral tube production, machine operation, warehouse duties and stock control. You'll play an important part in ensuring products are manufactured to a high standard and customer orders are accurately prepared and dispatched.
The Role
- Operating the Spiral Tube Forming Machine to produce quality products to specification.
- Carrying out routine machine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Monitoring raw materials and finished stock levels.
- Reporting machine faults, damage or maintenance requirements.
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and stock rotation.
- Using forklift trucks and pallet trucks as required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
- Supporting wider branch operations when required.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation or production experience.
- Warehouse, stores or logistics experience. xgikmsk
