Sales Coordinator
£25,775.88 per annum | Basildon, Essex | Permanent
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm | Friday: 8:00am–4:00pm
Are you organised, customer-focused and commercially minded? We're looking for a Sales Coordinator to join an established and successful business in Basildon.
This is a varied role combining customer service, sales administration, order processing and commercial support, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress your career.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Processing customer orders, enquiries and quotations.
- Building strong customer relationships and providing excellent service.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams to coordinate orders and deliveries.
- Arranging stock purchases and transfers where required.
- Supporting the Branch Manager and Business Development Manager with pricing and sales opportunities.
- Identifying up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Supporting stock management, credit control and general branch administration.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing daily and month-end administration.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills.
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Commercially aware and confident identifying sales opportunities.
- Experienced in sales administration, order processing, quotations or a similar environment.
- Accurate, reliable and comfortable working with computer systems. xgikmsk
