They are now looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor and here is what makes this opportunity stand out. You do not need to already be a Quantity Surveyor. You simply need the drive and interest to become one.
Whether you are a graduate or someone with experience in construction, construction supply, estimating, or document control, this role offers a genuine pathway into a commercial career.
The role:
- Assisting with estimating and tender preparation
- Supporting procurement and supplier coordination
- Monitoring project costs and helping maintain budgets
- Supporting contract and risk management processes
- Assisting with financial reporting and final accounts
- Supporting document control and project administration
- You will also attend site visits approximately twice per month, with all expenses covered, giving you valuable exposure to live projects.
What they are looking for:
- A genuine interest in becoming a Quantity Surveyor
- A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar is preferred but not essential
- Alternatively, experience within a commercial role in construction, construction supply, estimating, or document control will also be considered
