To provide management and co-ordination of off site activities of secured projects. Reports to Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage all projects from a head office perspective. Site operations are managed separately by Construction Team.
- Project coordination to include document control (Conject, Aconnex, 4P, Asite etc) – monitoring changes and distributing information.
- Management of material sample submittals and approvals.
- Understanding and determining the full scope of works, including measuring/checking/scheduling materials from drawings and specifications.
- Scheduling and ordering specialist material – stone, ceramics, trims and drains etc.
- Monitoring and co-ordinating the call-offs of material kept in stock.
- Production and submission of O&M Manuals.
- Obtaining and issuing relevant CE information.
- Running regular office meetings to manage the offsite process from a material perspective (Procurement meetings).
- Providing information for monthly sustainability reports using client tracker software.
- Design coordination to include managing the design process of all running projects, attending meetings and coordinating all matters, reporting to the Director and agreeing on actions to be taken.
- Producing detailed design drawings using Autocad (setting out, interface details, as built, production drawings).
- Producing construction drawings to obtain quotation for architectural bespoken items in collaboration with the Director and dealing with suppliers.
- Oversee Factory Production planning.
- Assisting Factory with production of bespoken items, understanding the design and collaborating at the selection of material for production, from site template to execution.
- Attending site design/co-ordination meetings when required.
- To perform any other reasonable tasks requested to assist with the efficient running of the business.
Autocad experience essential.
