We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Animal Care and Grounds Assistant to join a small, friendly team based on the outskirts of Maldon. This is a hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys caring for animals and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-presented environment.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 4 hours per day/20 hours per week
Duties will include:
- Feeding and caring for dogs on site
- Putting dogs into and out of kennels
- Cleaning and maintaining kennel areas
- Feeding chickens and collecting eggs
- Grass cutting using a ride-on lawn mower
- Strimming and general grounds maintenance
- Manual weeding and upkeep of outdoor areas
- Ensuring animal welfare standards are maintained at all times
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Be a genuine animal lover with a caring and patient nature
- Be comfortable handling dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
