We are looking for a reliable and detail focused Goods In Operative to join a growing and well organised warehouse team in Chelmsford. This is a key role within the warehouse, perfect for someone who enjoys structured work and understands how important accuracy is when receiving and managing stock.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Receiving deliveries into the building
- Unpacking goods and checking them against delivery paperwork
- Carrying out quality control checks to ensure goods meet required standards
- Booking stock accurately onto the warehouse management system
- Allocating stock to the correct warehouse locations
- Putting stock away neatly, safely, and correctly
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient goods in area
Who We Are Looking For:
- Previous experience in a goods in or stock control role
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using computer systems and warehouse management systems
- Organised, methodical, and process driven
- Reliable, hardworking, and a positive team player
