Are you experienced operating machinery and looking for a hands-on, full-time outdoor role? We are seeking a safety-conscious individual to join a professional operation as a Plant Operator. You do not need previous experience in this type of role as full training will be given, but you must have experience operating machinery such as a forklift or other heavy equipment where health and safety was critical. Full training will be provided on the plant machinery you will operate.
What You Will Do
- Operate plant machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform daily safety checks and basic maintenance on equipment
- Support ongoing operations and other machinery duties as required
- Train new employees in safe machinery operation when needed
- Follow established safety programs and contribute to a team-focused work environment
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience operating machinery such as a forklift or other equipment where health and safety awareness was essential
- Willingness to be trained on specific plant machinery
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Positive, proactive can-do attitude
Hours and Additional Information
- Monday to Thursday 7 am to 7 pm, Friday 7 am to 3 pm
- Winter hours may be shorter due to daylight availability
- One hour unpaid break per day
- 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
- Personal protective equipment must be used at all times
- Random drug and alcohol testing, candidates must pass
