We are recruiting on behalf of a well established organisation for a Forklift Operative to join their operational team. This is a hands on role suited to someone practical, safety conscious and confident operating forklift and plant equipment. The position involves a mixture of forklift and production duties, and our client is open to speaking with candidates from a forklift, warehouse or production background.

The Role:

  • Produce product using equipment to a high standard
  • Operate mobile plant and fixed equipment
  • Move and load product using a forklift
  • Carry out basic maintenance and support plant operations
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
  • Experience operating plant machinery is desirable but not essential
  • Basic engineering knowledge with the ability to respond to minor machinery issues
  • Strong understanding of health and safety
  • Good communication skills and a team focused approach
  • Flexible attitude towards duties

Additional Information:

  • Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 7 pm
  • Friday, 7 am to 3 pm
  • One hour unpaid lunch break
  • Free onsite parking
