We are currently recruiting for an experienced Glass Inspector to join a busy manufacturing environment in Witham. This is a full time opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate, with a pay increase available upon successful transition to a permanent contract.

The successful applicant will be responsible for inspecting glass products at various stages of production, ensuring they meet required quality and safety standards. This includes identifying defects, checking dimensions and thickness using measuring equipment, and maintaining accurate inspection records.

During quieter periods, you will also receive training to support additional areas of the factory, offering variety and the opportunity to broaden your skill set.

The Person:

Applicants must have previous experience within an inspection or quality control role, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail, confidence using measuring tools such as gauges or calipers, and the ability to communicate effectively with production teams are essential.

  • Monday - Thursday, 6 am - 2:30 pm / Friday, 6 am - 2 pm (45 minute unpaid break per day)
