CNC Programmer / Setter
Siemens ShopMill We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join our busy engineering team. The successful candidate will be confident programming and setting CNC milling machines and able to work independently from engineering drawings. Key requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in CNC programming and setting. Strong experience with Siemens ShopMill programming. Ability to write CNC programs from scratch, working from engineering drawings with minimal input from others. Ability to interpret technical drawings and accurately check your own work to ensure components meet drawing requirements. Experience setting up jobs for machine operators to run independently is essential. A good understanding of machining processes, tooling and cutting conditions. Ability to work independently, manage priorities and maintain high standards of quality. Desirable: Experience with Fusion 360 for offline programming. Up to £25 per hour for the right person 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Auto enrol pension 40 hour week - Mon to Thurs 7.30
