This role will operate Huons fleet of specialist remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and support vessels delivering essential services to finfish aquaculture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safely and efficiently operating ROVs and vessels ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard.
  • Conducting accurate net and subsea inspections monitoring predator activity and providing timely data and reports.
  • Collaborating with managers and team members to deliver efficient net cleaning schedules and farm support tasks.
  • Adhering to internal procedures, external regulations and biosecurity protocols to protect fish populations.
  • Liaising effectively with stakeholders and maintenance teams, documenting requests clearly and contributing to continual improvement.
