Role overview:

- Day Rate: Dependent on Experience - Umbrella only recruitment

The ideal Market Abuse Consultant will have:
- Demonstrable experience, at least three years, conducting trade surveillance and reviewing market abuse risks across different financial instruments
- Knowledge of UK MAR, MiFID II, FCA expectations, ESMA guidance, and global market abuse regulations
- Experience in Market Abuse Risk Assessment (MARA) methods and processes is essential
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risk scenarios, detect patterns, and interpret surveillance data effectively
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels, including technical, front-office and IT teams
- Demonstrable consulting and advisory experience within financial services
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to identify priority targets
