ROLE PURPOSE
The role of HR Advisor is key to the success of our growth of our operations within the UK. This will be supporting our HR Director in delivery of the People strategy. The job holder will be required to build strong relationships with line managers and colleagues. In addition, the role will focus on delivering people practices which maintain positive working relationships, with a particular emphasis on proactive and effective Employee Relations to foster a collaborative and compliant workplace.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create strong partnerships across the Group to deliver a value-added service to all colleagues.
- Manage an employee relations caseload providing advice and coaching to people managers on all employee relations processes in line with company policy (disciplinary, performance grievance and sickness absence issues) with the ability to act as mediator.
- To operate within the ER framework of supporting employees with wellbeing to improve engagement and reduce sickness absence.
- Raise awareness and partnering to business regarding current and upcoming employment legislation and impact on ways of working.
- Provide key insight / MI to the business in employee relation matters identifying trends and solutions.
- Any other duties as required.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong advisory HR experience, particularly around employee relations, preferably gained within a commercial and fast-paced environment (e.g. contact centre/BPO).
- CIPD qualified (level 5 or 7) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of statutory codes and policies in employee relations.
- To confidentiality and effectively communication at all levels (including written communication).
- Up to date knowledge and keen interest in employee relations.
- Active listening skills.
- Thorough attention to detail with detail-oriented mentality.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Friendly, approachable manner.
