The business provides brokerage services, liquidity solutions, trading infrastructure and related services to professional clients and counterparties across global markets.
As the organisation continues to expand, they are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to strengthen their finance function.
Role Summary
The Financial Controller will play a key role in developing and maintaining a robust finance function capable of supporting a growing international financial services group.
The role combines financial control, reporting, treasury oversight, governance, audit coordination and strategic support while working closely with senior management and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, budgets, forecasts and board reporting packs.
- Oversee reconciliations, journals, accruals, bookkeeping and financial controls.
- Support treasury management, including banking relationships and cash flow monitoring.
- Coordinate external audits, statutory reporting and supporting documentation.
- Assist with regulatory finance reporting and capital monitoring activities.
- Develop and maintain finance procedures, controls and governance frameworks.
- Perform financial analysis, profitability reviews and performance monitoring.
- Support strategic initiatives, business growth projects and expansion activities.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
- Minimum of five years' experience in finance, accounting or financial control.
- Strong analytical, financial reporting and financial modelling skills.
- Experience supporting management reporting and audit processes.
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience within financial services, brokerage, banking, Fin Tech or another regulated environment is highly desirable.
£60,000–£85,000 , depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
