Huntsman has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join its operations team at the Wilton site, within the Polyurethanes division. Operating in a COMAH‐regulated Nitrobenzene and Aniline facility, this role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production to meet quality and business requirements. This is a hands‐on, plant‐based position for individuals who value safety, teamwork, and operational discipline in a structured industrial environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Operate plant and process equipment safely, efficiently, and in line with all site procedures and environmental standards
  • Take responsibility for the operation and isolation of equipment within the assigned area
  • Monitor processes, record operational data, and respond to abnormal conditions or alarms
  • Carry out first‐line troubleshooting and support safe start‐ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance at all times
  • Proactively identify equipment or process deficiencies, support root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective actions
  • Escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with Shift Managers, Engineers, and other functions
  • Actively support continuous improvement and shared learning across the site

Experience and Competencies:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant technical or vocational discipline
  • Experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or process‐based industry is strongly preferred
  • Trade skills or prior experience in COMAH or highly regulated environments are advantageous
  • Comfortable working shifts and operating within a unionised, pay‐for‐job framework
