Shift: 40 hrs, weekly rotations (6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday) As Warehouse Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse operates efficiently and safely.

You'll service the external and internal (Bulk Production and Packing) customers handling a wide range of tasks and use Fork Lift Truck extensively (60-70% of your time).

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely offload and put away raw materials to maximise efficiency and minimise damage.
  • Pick and deliver raw materials and packaging to meet the production schedule, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Collect and put away finished products.
  • Safely and accurately operate the Forklift trucks and palletisers. (60-70% of your time will involve using this equipment).
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment by following company policies and acting as a role model for safety practices.
  • Ensure on time delivery of the dispatch plan as set out by the Plant Transport Coordinators, achieving OTIF (On Time In Full) targets.
  • Conduct cycle-counts to maintain pick-accuracy and minimise production risks.
  • Support a 'World Class' 5S environment, helping maintain exceptional warehouse organisation.
  • Key Requirements
  • Numeracy and Literacy with GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a Warehouse environment, ideally in the Chemical sector.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management systems (e. g. SAP).
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Forklift truck License (Counterbalance, Reach, VNA) or the capacity to learn.
  • Reliable team worker, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
