Role Overview As a Project Engineer at Huntsman, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engineering projects and supporting strategic investments at our Duxford site. Working closely with the Engineering & Maintenance team, you will ensure compliance with process safety standards, regulatory requirements, and Huntsman’s corporate CAPEX program. This is a dynamic position where you will contribute to continuous improvement, reliability, and innovation across site operations.
Role Responsibilities
- Act as the responsible Project Engineer for the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining engineering standards.
- Support projects to ensure delivery on time, in full, and aligned with corporate engineering requirements.
Experience and Competencies
- Experience in the chemical sector (pharma or biochemical).
- Knowledge of regulatory and statutory engineering requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Knowledge of SAP is nice to have).
- Familiarity with LEAN tools (VSM, SMED, Kaizen) and continuous improvement.
