We are currently recruiting for 7.5 Tonne Drivers for a busy distribution company based in Wakefield (WF2). This is a temporary to permanent role, and an excellent opportunity to work for a well known, expanding company. Full weeks or odd days are available, along with almost immediate starts. There is also the potential for plenty of overtime at excellent rates.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle
- Approximately 6 drops a day (no mass multi-drop)
- Nationwide deliveries
- Some double manned runs
- Assistance with the loading and unloading of the vehicle may be required but drivers mates are provided
- There is also the opportunity to do 2 manned installation drops, which is a higher rate of pay
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Full UK 7.5T Driving Licence
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Full CPC training
- No more than 6 points on licence
- Previous experience of commercial deliveries
Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 4am-7am start times until finish
- Potential for lots of overtime available
Salary & Benefits:
- Β£13.50 hourly rate
- Installation rate Β£14.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at Time and 1/2 after 8 hours
- Minimum 8 hours pay on shorter days
- Weekly Pay
- Holiday Pay
- Company Pension
