Class 2 Driver in Wakefield

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work for a busy distribution company based in Wakefield, WF2.

This role has options of full weeks or odd days, and an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established, expanding local employer.

Almost immediate starts are available.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

– Driving a Class 2 wagon making Nationwide deliveries

– Various drops a day but not mass multi-drop

– Double-manned runs working with another Class 2 driver

– Plenty of overtime available and paid at Time and 1/2

Required Skills/Qualifications:

– Must hold a valid Class 2 licence

– Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card

– Must hold a valid CPC card

– No more than 6 points on your licence

– No DD, DG, IN, CD, DR endorsements

– Must have at least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience

Hours:

– Full time or odd days available

– 4am onwards start times until finish

– Minimum 8 hours paid a day

– Overtime after 8 hours

– Plenty of overtime available

Salary:

– £35k-£40kpa depending on days/hours worked

– Overtime paid at Time and 1/2 after 8 hours

– Holiday Pay

– Minimum 8 hours a day pay
