We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work for a busy distribution company based in Wakefield, WF2. This role has options of full weeks or odd days, and an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established, expanding local employer. Almost immediate starts are available.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Driving a Class 2 wagon making Nationwide deliveries
- Various drops a day but not mass multi-drop
- Double-manned runs working with another Class 2 driver
- Plenty of overtime available and paid at Time and 1/2
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Class 2 licence
- Must hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Must hold a valid CPC card
- No more than 6 points on your licence
- No DD, DG, IN, CD, DR endorsements
- Must have at least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience
Hours:
- Full time or odd days available
- 4am onwards start times until finish
- Minimum 8 hours paid a day
- Overtime after 8 hours
- Plenty of overtime available
Salary:
- £35k-£40kpa depending on days/hours worked
- Overtime paid at Time and 1/2 after 8 hours
- Holiday Pay
- Minimum 8 hours a day pay
