We are currently recruiting for Van Drivers to work for a busy distribution company based in Shelf (HX3). This is an ongoing temporary position, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Shelf.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering beds and mattresses to customers' houses using a 3.5T van
- Approx 15 deliveries a day
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of the vehicles
- Assisting with the assembly of the items, alongside a driver's mate
- Heavy lifting is involved, so you must be physically fit
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06.45am starts until finish
Salary: £12.75 hourly rate, Weekly Pay, Holiday Pay
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent punctuality and attendance levels
- No more than 6 points on licence
- Previous experience of commercial deliveries
- Customer service skills and being physically fit
