We are currently recruiting for Mechanical Assembly Engineers to work for a busy manufacturing company in Mirfield, WF14. This is a permanent vacancy and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company at their new, modern, purpose-built facility with the opportunity for career progression.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical Assembly of equipment at the new modern factory independently and with team depending on the type of equipment
- Testing of equipment during and at the end of assembly
- Set up and commissioning of equipment at factory
- Understanding on pneumatic setup and operation
- Site works is available for those who would like to travel for site works, but not a primary function of this role
- Electrical training is available to further develop electrical and diagnostic skills
- Other tasks as directed
Required Skills/Qualifications
- Previous experience within an equipment manufacturing environment
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferable)
- Good communication skills - verbal and written
- Attention to detail and a focus on quality
- Good time management
- Willingness to learn and develop self
- Good teamwork
Hours
- Monday to Thursday, 7.30am until 4pm
- Friday, 7.30 until 2.45pm on Friday
- Overtime is offered when available
Salary
£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year depending on level of experience
