We’re recruiting an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established chemical manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, HD3. This role suits someone confident operating an FLT in a safety-critical environment and experienced handling chemical drums, IBCs, and industrial stock.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely load and unload pallets of chemical drums
  • Move IBCs, raw materials, and finished goods around the factory
  • Support production and warehouse flow with efficient stock movement
  • Maintain a clean, organised working environment through general housekeeping duties
  • Follow strict health & safety procedures at all times

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance certificate (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a chemical, manufacturing, or industrial environment
  • Strong awareness of safety protocols and handling hazardous materials
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Comfortable working rotating shifts

Hours:

  • Monday–Friday rotating shifts (no weekends)
  • 05:00–13:00 & 12:00–20:00
