We are currently recruiting for a 7.5T Driver to work for a busy distribution company based in Brighouse, HD6. This is a full-time, permanent vacancy and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering to customers across the Midlands and the North of England, returning to the Brighouse depot at the end of each shift.
Duties:
- Driving a 7.5T (HGV) vehicle from the Brighouse depot
- Delivering goods to customers across the Midlands and North of England
- Handballing and some heavy lifting as part of deliveries
- Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance
- Returning vehicle to depot at the end of each shift
- Driving an FLT desirable, but not essential
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Valid HGV 7.5T licence (required)
- Less than 6 points on driving licence (required)
- Forklift (FLT) licence (preferred)
- Previous dray experience (preferred)
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Physically fit due to handballing and lifting requirements
Hours:
Monday to Friday Day shift 06.30am starts until finish
