Huntsman is looking for a Process Support Operator to join our chemical manufacturing site in Duxford, Cambridge. This hands-on role supports the production team with stock control, housekeeping, waste handling, labelling and other practical production tasks. It is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, works safely, maintains high standards and wants to build experience in manufacturing.
Role Responsibilities:
- Replenish consumable stock and help keep production areas organised
- Support material preparation, labelling, run-outs and other production tasks
- Support practical production activities such as waste handling, pallet management, packing/filling support and general housekeeping
- Use forklift trucks to move materials, waste and pallets safely
- Follow site safety procedures and report hazards, incidents or near misses
- Work with Production, Procurement and Warehouse colleagues to support daily operations
What we are looking for:
- A safe, reliable and practical approach to work
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills
- Willingness to work shifts and carry out hands-on, physically demanding tasks
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse or forklift experience would be helpful, but is not essential
Working Conditions:
Monday to Friday, rotating weekly shifts: 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm and 10pm–6am, with shift premium. Hands-on manufacturing environment involving manual handling and practical tasks.
