- HGV Class 2 Driver - Eastfield House, Huntingdon.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, from 6am - 2pm.
We’re on the lookout for reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our frontline team at Huntingdonshire District Council. This is a key role in delivering vital services to our communities, and we need someone who can lead from the front.
What you must have (essential - applications without this will not be considered):
- HGV Class C Licence
- CPC Qualification
- A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a safety-first mindset.
What you’ll do:
- You’ll drive and operate our collection vehicles, lead your crew on daily rounds, carry out vehicle checks, and ensure safe, efficient waste and recycling collections.
- You’ll also use in-cab tech to log issues and complete your round.
- When not driving, you’ll support the team by loading bins, working outdoors in all weather, and engaging with the public in a polite and professional manner.
