Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking to take the next step towards becoming a Registered Manager? We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Manager in Training to join a children's residential service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills through mentoring, reflective supervision and hands-on experience, with a clear pathway towards becoming an Ofsted Registered Manager.
The Role:
- Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will:
- Support the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead shifts and deputise in the manager's absence.
- Supervise, mentor and develop team members.
- Promote outstanding care and positive outcomes for children.
- Ensure safeguarding, compliance and Ofsted standards are maintained.
- Support care planning, risk assessments and quality assurance processes.
- Participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the home.
About You
QCF Level 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is preferred.
