Hunts Recruitment is looking for committed and compassionate Support Workers for a caring team in the Bursledon area of Southampton. You will be working within a residential home to support adults who have additional learning needs and behaviours, with their day to day lives and routines.
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: Full time, 48 hours per week across Monday to Sunday
- Salary: £30,576 per annum
- NVQ 2 or above: preferred but not essential
- Car drivers: preferred but not essential

Your job role will be:
- To contribute and participate in providing quality care and life experiences to vulnerable people
- To help provide a therapeutic, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives
- To assist in the overall daily management of the home by taking responsibility for coordinating activities during a shift as required
- To support and advise new and less experienced staff in the implementation of procedures and service user guidelines
- To ensure that medication is administered in line with both Company Policy and CQC guidelines (training provided)
- Delivering a clearly defined programme of care for each service user within the home and ensuring that service user files are recorded and maintained accurately
- Liaising with relatives, other staff and other professionals in consultation with the Home Manager
