Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant * Near Totton- Southampton * 30 hours per week * Monday – Friday – Term time only * Actual salary: £17,091 (Pro-rata for part time) * This is a permanent, term-time only position however we also have flexible agency hours if preferred. Hunts Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic, skilled and resilient Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’, special needs school near Southampton. You will be working with young people who have a range of needs including profound and complex difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autism. This vacancy includes providing personal care to students, and supporting them with physically challenging behaviours. Please only consider this job vacancy if you are happy with this. You will be working within a strong team of dedicated, friendly and highly skilled staff who provide an exciting, balanced curriculum which emphasises personal and academic success. – You will be offered comprehensive training opportunities for this role. – You may be required to work across Primary or Secondary Education. If you are shortlisted for an interview please plan to be available for the whole morning as you will be expected to complete a shadow shift followed by a formal interview.
