Hunts Recruitment are seeking Flexible Children's Residential Support Workers for shifts in Pulborough. You will be working within a residential home for young people in care, providing day-to-day support to the young people who may display challenging behaviours and mental health needs due to many having experienced trauma and abuse.

  • Pay per hour: £11.50 - £12.00 per hour / £50 per sleep in duty
  • Shift times: Shifts offered include morning shifts, late shifts, long day shifts and sleep in duties
  • Shifts: Across Monday to Sunday as required
  • Locations: Pulborough (We also have shifts available in Littlehampton, Crawley, & Worthing if desired)

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a professional parent, nurturing and caring for the young people looked after
  • You will take a child-centred approach in providing high quality care that will enable each young person to grow and develop healthily.
  • You will implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries necessary for the creation of a safe and secure environment.

Who we are looking for:

  • You will ideally have experience of supporting children or young people, especially those with additional needs and/or behaviours
  • Experience supporting within a residential setting would be advantageous
  • Flexible with your availability for shifts starting from 7am and ending at 10pm
  • You will ideally have an enhanced DBS for the child and adult workforce which is registered on the update service. If not, we are happy to assist you in gaining one at the cost of £62.70
