Full UK Drivers Licence and the right to work full time are essential for this role.

Job Salary: Β£26,715 per annum (PLUS additional sleep in payments of Β£68.15 per sleep in).

Job Location: Hedge End - Southampton.

Job Hours: 37.5 hours - Permanent across Monday- Sunday.

Childcare experience required.

Your job role will be:

  • To work within a small residential service for children and young people with additional learning needs. You will be paramount in providing a safe and secure environment where young people can flourish.
  • To contribute and participate in providing quality care and life experiences to young people.
  • To assist and support in the management of the home and staffing team.
  • To help provide a therapeutic, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives.
  • Identifying the residents' emotional, physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs and make appropriate decisions for action in consultation with the Management Team.
  • To supervise and share meal times with the young people.
  • To assist in the delivery of day care and leisure opportunities following individual activity programmes in conjunction with, and following guidance from day staff.
