Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager looking to take the next step towards becoming a Registered Manager? We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Manager in Training to join a children's residential service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills through mentoring, reflective supervision and hands-on experience, with a clear pathway towards becoming an Ofsted Registered Manager.

The Role:

  • Support the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Lead shifts and deputise in the manager's absence.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop team members.
  • Promote outstanding care and positive outcomes for children.
  • Ensure safeguarding, compliance and Ofsted standards are maintained.
  • Support care planning, risk assessments and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the home.

About You:

  • QCF Level 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Experience working within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and children's home regulations.
  • Natural leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Passionate about helping children and young people achieve their full potential.
  • Willingness to complete or work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management if not already achieved.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
