Hunts Recruitment is looking for a committed and compassionate Support Worker for a caring team in the Bursledon area of Southampton. Your role will be to support adults who have additional learning needs and behaviours, with their day to day lives and routines within a residential home.
- Job Type: Permanent
- Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week across Monday to Sunday. 8am-8pm shifts primarily.
- Salary: £25,396.80 - £29,500 per annum
- NVQ 2 or above: preferred but not essential
- Car drivers: preferred

Your job role will be:
- To contribute and participate in providing quality care and life experiences to vulnerable people
- To help provide a therapeutic, structured and relaxed environment in which service users can develop and enjoy their lives
- To assist in the overall daily management of the home by taking responsibility for coordinating activities during a shift as required
- To support and advise new and less experienced staff in the implementation of procedures and service user guidelines
- To ensure that medication is administered in line with both Company Policy and CQC guidelines (training provided)
- Liaising with relatives, other staff and other professionals in consultation with the Home Manager
